I have special needs. I am currently a patient at the VA Spinal Cord injury unit after having a traumatic spinal cord injury. I have been going through physical therapy and now have been given these braces called AFOs. They fit inside the boot and unfortunately free soldier are comfortable and I don’t have a choice Because I hate these braces to actually walk again regrettably they work for me so I must return them. Thank you so much for give me the opportunity.

Very light, but also sturdy

I'm very impressed w/ these boots. I deal with a lot of stair climbing on the job and these boots feel more like sneakers than boots. Not sure how they can make them so light yet still feel very sturdy, but they nailed it.

Second pair is cheap and over sized.

I bought my second pair of these boots. I got the same size as the first pair at the end of last year, which fit perfect. After the second pair finally came from , (it took a week to go all over) even though the very first sentence on the website says: shipped from Nevada-US, I finally got them over two weeks later. As you can see, the first pair I bought on the left is very thick, padded and comfortable. The new pair is very thin, cheap made and so loose I can fit two fingers between the boot and my heel and both pair are the exact same size. I can't wear them but I'm not spending another $20.00 to return them. Lets see if I actually hear from someone at Free Soldier and if they even post this review. Next step will be to another agency....

Probably one of the most comfortable pair of boots ever for the price, boot strings cinch up well and the fit is fine, lightweight duty. Grips are near worthless on wet surfaces and construction sucks after only a month or two of normal wear. Do like the boots however will try again because they are comfortable for my size 12 gimps.
